Subject: [idea] Overhaul - more balanced attributes

My suggestion is to make the skill values closer together. (ie: tragic and hopeless more close together, hopeless and poor closer together etc)

My team just won 9-0 in the cup, but I'm now expecting a thrashing in the next round! That doesn't feel realistic. If we balance out the attribute values a bit, and maybe see form play a bigger role (everyone has off days after all), I can see there being more realistic or unpredictable scorelines, and maybe even the odd upset! As a Kidderminster Harriers fan, I think back to when we drew West Ham in the FA cup and almost pulled off a monumental upset! and in the end, only losing 2-1. In sokker, I think it would have been 25-0! Even with a reserve team being played! I think this would make the game much more exciting!

The one issue I can see with this would be, would it produce too many draws?

(edit: I'd exclude pace from this, as its clear IRL that some players are much faster than others)

I'm the second best team currently and I could easily loose by that score line in my first game, it's a slow burner game, but Rock bottom proved it takes about 3 years, to get to 3rd in premiership from starting
