baloomao to All
As all know, some coaches are more than 100 years old in our game.
I propose that, on a next season begining:

1) All coachs have their age half cut: 100 yo will have 50 yo; 45 yo become 23 yo etc ...

after that

2) Every season, all coaches older than 70 yo will have their skills down up
- as it's happened for old players
or simplier
- With a -1 random down only on one skill on 8

It will make that an user want to sell his trainer coach when he will be too old (as for players) or put him as assistant in a first time

But, for coherence, skills should drop little by little every week, like old players do, being higher the drop the older the coach is

I get your general point that something needs to happen to the coaches age, but your solution will bring instant problems to some managers who have coaches who are already +-130y old now...
Either they leave the age as it is and it's becoming a gimmic (seems like the best solution for now), or they remove the age

As for the skill drops...it's a delicate matter. Some newer teams will surely have invested alot of money into better coaches and they need to build before they will be able to invest again. So if their coaches will drop in skills, it might turn out bad for them.

Don't get me wrong, I do believe that there is potential in this idea, but not in this way.
You speak about ''selling'' your trainer, but you can only sack him, keep him or appoint him to another function.

1) What about a prime by selling an old coach ... for buying a younger one.

2) 130 yo will become à 65 yo, what the matter? Look at Olympique de Marseille's new coach (ex Ivory Cost coach) :-)
He's 70 yo !!! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean-Louis_Gasset

3) There will be no down for old coaches until several seasons because i wrote "more than 70yo"

Thing is that you're punishing people because they have old coaches right now. It was never an issue until you choose to change that part.
If that will change, then it has to be the same for everyone! So IF the age goes down, then it's best if you bring down the age to the exact same age for all coaches.
But I actually don't see why bother? Sokker has major issues...this is not one of them.

Sure. But it could be simply solved.
2024-02-27 20:19:09
Needs it to be solved? Is someone harmed by it?
2024-02-27 23:31:04
it's ridiculous, but sure it's not a problem about enjoying the game.
Remember why players heads were changed in priority some years ago. To be more realistic.
It's the same sort of reason, i think.

Age of coaches should be deleted, no one is interested in it.
Also there are more important things to develep or fixing in this game.

Delete/hide age for coaches.

Or give them all a random but fixed age from 40 to 70. That will be their age for always. Yes, a bit strange, but 110 year old coaches is way more stange :/

As older the coach is, he should be more efficient, by logic. The age of coaches should be deleted or announce the retiring at some age like 75-80

Camus to trga
I do think having coaches retire at 80 is a good idea.
I think there's an issue with development limits in this game, where once you've got the large stadium and max coaches, they don't require any further investment. That's led to huge inflation in the transfer market because users are accumulating money and have nowhere else to spend it.

Edit
Although having said that, it wouldn't affect much at the rate of aging. You could buy someone at 40 and never need to touch them again.

I in general like a coach reform aswell.... being able to send on courses, trading coaches, up and downs, retire, wage change and more

Just give all current coaches random age 30-50 so there is time to adapt and Even for all players.....
